PHYSICAL ENTRY GUIDELINES:
ORIGINAL WORK may not be larger than 36" in any 1 given direction. This includes the Mat/Mounting. No glass, no frames. Wire is necessary on canvases, boards and heavy images.
Neutral Mats only in black or white.
The top 10 Senior Portfolio winners will be able to select 3 pieces for the YTIO Show.
PER DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY: The delivered actual artwork must match the digital submission as closely as possible. If the delivered image is significantly different from the juried image, it may be disqualified.
COPYRIGHT / PLAGIARISM Plagiarism is a concern each year. The expectation is that work submitted to YTIO is original work by the students. If you have any doubt whether any entry is original, we advise that you choose not to enter that work. Scholastic Art and Writing has a wonderful explanation addressing these concerns. If there are questions, please see the link below. https://www.artandwriting.org/awards/how-to-enter/copyright-plagiarism/ When photographing the student artwork try these websites for tips. Do alter images using photoshop to show the strong quality of the artwork. PortPrep.com APStudio website
